So nobody I know uses Matrix-Dendrite. Multiple people I know recommend Conduit. Matrix and Element are getting kinda schemey with their stuff as Element is trying to gate-keep self-deployments in lieu of paid hosting options. Not sure what the development status is with Matrix-Dendrite, but I've heard through the grapevine that it's "not there" yet. Wondering, then, if I shouldn't just go with running Conduit.
