I have no idea how you could read this opening scrawl and come to the conclusion that shooting cardboard cutouts is the issue at hand. Maybe the article that you didn't link revolves around this topic, but of course I wouldn't know. All I can see from this picture is that it is encouraging violence and bloodthirst, which would fit the definition of troubling.
