For #MusicWomenWednesday this week, I chose an artist that doesn't get enough credit for her songwriting and her ability to tell a story that tears at your heart. On top of this, her voice is so unique and wonderful, it's often cited as an influence for other (more popular) artists.

I'm talking about Johnette Napolitano and her band Concrete Blonde. It's hard to pick one song, but 'God Is A Bullet' was ahead of it's time, as far as subject matter and importance. 😎
