Personally, I'm with you. I have the ability, curiosity, and patience to just run my own node, manage my own utxos & channels. Full sovereignty FTW.

But the market shows that most people don't want to be bothered with any of that. They just want to get some sats, hold a balance, and spend them.

Free markets aren't wrong. Custodial solutions clearly solve actual pain points for the majority of bitcoin users. Ecash is orders of magnitude better than your standard custodian today.

I'm happy it exists & will support it.
