Yeah, we're heavily dependent on plastics, but we're also literally killing ourselves with them. Sooner or later, we're not going to have a choice. Environmentally friendly plastics are being developed, but adoption will take time if and when viable alternatives become feasible. In the meantime, I agree, single use plastics, except for medical and military applications, should be banned. Period.",
