This is a big reason why I’ve resisted buying more houses to rent out, even though I can *probably* afford to do it, and even though it makes financial sense because I get to keep the very low mortgage rate on my current house while I buy another one. I hate the *idea* of landlording, yes, even when I’m nice. It contributes to the housing crisis that has priced almost everyone out of a house in the #sfba and I would really hate myself for doing it.
