Thank you. Daddy’s say-sos were legendary. Everyone in the family called him a “nice-nasty”, because he was charming and handsome AF, but would do things like smell food before he would take a bite. Equally at home in a country club, field trials, or scampering down dusty backroads searching for sorghum syrup. If he didn’t like who/the sound of who I was going on a date with, he’d make sure to be cleaning his 12 gauge shotgun when the poor fool came to pick me up. I miss him.
