There is one kind of post on here that never fails to weirdly annoy me and it's the "Remember to not click favourite on Mastodon because there is no algorithm here for it to feed, it doesn't help anyone!"

I never clicked Like on Twitter because it fed an algorithm. I didn't know it fed an algorithm. I clicked it because I liked things and it let the person posting it know.

And I enjoy people clicking fave on my toots. That's the purpose it serves.
