There are many supernatural phenomenon. Gods are many additional suppositions beyond things like ghosts or chi. To claim they are identical to the existence of a god only means one hasn't considered the distinctions between the phenomena.
More importantly, non-god supernatural claims & believers do far less harm to others. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good.
