Anyway, one of the things I notice the most is brevity in storytelling, and how we've lost it. Some of these movies didn't age well, but others are absolute masterpieces. BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN (1935) is 75 minutes long and tells a more complete story than most modern films in double the time.
Be brief. Get to the point. If you actually have something to say, it won't take long to say it.
