Met death at the crossroads and seen him take a few souls to know that there is no need for hope. Only the Now is important.

Your world makes sense to you, Now

It does not need to make sense to others, nor will it make the same sense later in the future. Time is a fickle thing we clign to make sense of its passing.

Hope is a beautiful construct we have to distract ourselves from the Now and the passing of time which inevitably leads to our death.

The one certainty we have is death, and so we hope for a better future so as to avoid accepting not just death but also the present moment.

Your suffering, desires, rage, wants, dreams, and wishes are what make you human.

What gives me hope is that I still feel human, I still see humanity in the eyes of a child and those who are not trapped by time.

Embrace the Now, carpe diem my friends.
