He needs to have courage, and that courage needs to be planted in him loving himself. Loving yourself does take courage because it means accepting all the good and the bad, the whole.

If you don’t have courage to spare for yourself, you will never peel yourself off the ground. Forget facing the day, you’ve already given up when you won’t even love yourself. And if you have flaws, learn to fix them. That’s all there is to it. Nobody here, is so screwed up, that they cannot be fixed.

And sometimes that’s a matter of being courageous enough to call for help and lean on somebody, one of your flock, one of us. But that requires us to have the courage to live by our ideals and be ready to pick someone up when they’re stumbling, the courage to love them that much and believe in our investment.
