It’s not just color temp (though that is of course critical). So many people say, “it’s great, you can get any color temp you want! What are you complaining about?” But the CRI is often terrible, flicker is common, dimmer compatibility is often questionable, and because of cost cutting by the manufacturers, they usually die way faster than claimed too.

I do have some LEDs I like (mainly SORAA and some older Cree from before they sold out), but the market is a mine field.
