Pls get Whitney Webb (npub1g05…40hv) and Mark Goodwin on your show, or on a Socratic debate. Their point is that the trail of monies that establish the infrastructure for Tether is the same for the guys in the pro CBDC camp. And those guys have tethered themselves to bitcoin and bitcoin protocol development.
Your point is philosophically and Technically correct Guy, but their argument can't be totally dismissed cos I live in Africa. Plus most African who use Tether would have to have your frame of reference, which they don't, hence elevating "The bitcoin Dollar" narrative even further
