Ooof so the painted inner roof pink foam needs covered in my hibes... They chewed thru the paint and into the foam making a terrible mess in at least three hives. guess I need to spend a day flashing taping all 12 lids and marking all of the frames in the hives full of microplastics Do Not Extract. I'll have to pull all the bees out of those hives and swap with new hives in the spring so I can scrub out all the foam everywhere. Will probably just use those hives for the super aggressive splits anyway, so will be easy to rotate out the contamination.
