sure, i don't particularly mind the blame game, yes the problem is with people's assumption that just because it's on some list and publicly connectable it's free use to everyone for any purpose

some degree of security through obscurity often works, so i wouldn't mind being removed from the list, i do agree it's not a lasting solution especially against determined spammers, but this isn't even intentional

i am in fact working on locking down my relay more, but i also don't want to go the other extreme of auth-only
