Holy hell, I just tried to book single one night of accommodation online for a short trip and I've come away feeling like I've been in a car crash and swindled by a predatory towie or something. No price on Google maps bore any resemblance to reality, *twice* I nearly booked for the wrong dates because different sites didn't communicate them correctly and they defaulted to today's date, and don't get me started on showing members rates before telling you to sign up to get them. 1/🧵
