I'm not against putting computers in cars. I'm against putting computers in cars that run proprietary closed-source corporate-controlled copyrighted software with vendor lock-in, DRM protection, automatic updates, and remote C&C that can override the owner's wishes.
If I am going to own a car that is "smart", I first need to know it will work for ME, not for its previous owner.
