8 November 1942 | Transport no. 42 with 1,000 Jews arrived at #Auschwitz from Drancy in occupied France. After the selection made by SS doctors 145 men & 82 women were registered in the camp.
The remaining 773 people were murdered in a gas chamber. 3-year-old Monique Cofman was among them.
