Yeah there's a fair bit of artistic liberty taken, and the standard power fantasy tropes. I'm glad they skipped through most of the "waaah i'm a little worthless baby waaaah, watch me cry" MC arc. Yeah it's magic u guis, just ignore that a dagger does more damage than a fucking missile launcher, watching the first raids would be fun imo. Bunch of soldiers running in with guns and having to scrounge the crystals for effective gear whilst getting annihilated by goblins.
