Ellen's Very Southern Voice on Nostr: I have an extreme sensitivity to repetitive sounds. Eating noises. Gum chewing. ...
I have an extreme sensitivity to repetitive sounds. Eating noises. Gum chewing. Tapping on an iPad. Brushing teeth. Misophonia, it's called. (It's so little known, spell check underlines it.) But I like the ticking of a clock. It's human noises I can't stand. When they happen, it makes it hard for me to think. I need it to stop. Why? Who knows. but it correlates with PTSD, which I have.
