Our #HVAC system is due for a replacement. We're looking at a heat pump system, but the rep said we'd still need a gas furnace for emergency heat when the temp got low (around 0°F). It doesn't really get that cold on Ohio anymore so I thought we could go work just a heat pump. Does anyone else have such a system? Or maybe just a heat pump and can comment on how they like their setup.
