No damage, just the pungent odor of anaerobic bacteria and ineffectual baking soda. Not sure which part is worse: the 2 plastic pipe threads or the metal strap that is supposed to raise and lower the drain plug but which only does so for a couple weeks after the pipe ream-out.",
