He asked if I'd gotten quotes from anyone else, I told him yes and gave him the quotes (10k and 12k).
He said that the big boys in the area were charging ~16k for roughly the same equipment I had installed. He said they (both of the two big names here) are part of some advertising/marketing group and have internal mandates that they have 50% women on staff. HVAC company, mind you.
