I remember the first time I complained in a group setting I would be “X years old” by the time I’d achieved something (in this case, a college degree,) and I will never forget the older dudes there who chuckled and said “You’re gonna be X anyway, might as well make the most of it!” Always stuck with me.
They were right. So are you.
