so I thought that too, but it turns out I was having episodes that only lasted a couple of seconds often enough for them to catch a couple, and that's all they needed. Apparently if that hadn't worked, there's an implant they can give you ("about the size and shape of a matchstick") that's effectively permanent and obviously gives medics much more time to catch it. Honestly I'm kinda sad I didn't get one!
