⚠️ AURORA ALERT ⚠️
For those that aren't aware, there was a significant X7.1(!!!) solar flare on 10/1. The NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center is predicting the CME from that event will arrive sometime Thursday Oct 3 as a G2 geomagnetic storm!
As of right now, SWPC has updated their viewline graphic but not their Kp index forecast, so I don't know what the timing is supposed to be. I will update when I know more.
