"content": "You can see why they're called Monkshood. This is aconitum, a poisonous perennial plant. Their leaves can be quite finely dissected in shape. \n\nThere's a lovely Japanese Maple (Acer Aconitifolium) whose leaves look similar to Monkshood leaves.
