Today's harvest... picked a red beet to see how it's going. These are the Crapaudine variety, and I'm pleased to see them doing relatively well-- harvest for these should be in August, I think. I also picked the first Touchstone Gold beets. These are meant to be harvested at 1-3" in diameter, so I may end up harvesting the rest of these soon and reseeding. Beans, snap peas, & a lone Tonda di Parigi carrot round things out today.
