Yeah, watching people jump in to say
1. It's not _actually_ Red Hat/IBM being ableist because either A, they're not involved or responsible for Fedora or B. haven't prioritized it, OR
2. How fucking DARE you word things this way, if ONLY you had asked NICELY instead of being CAPTAIN DICKFACE
I dunno random reply guys, maybe fucking consider that being nice hasn't worked and that maybe we SHOULD be angry about it, yeah? Maybe people who don't have the same accessibility needs should stop politely suggesting it and say "fuck you for shipping a broken screen reader for 8 years despite being aware of the issue". Maybe that's how things actually happen and by being Reply Guys who are Critical Of The Way Things Are Being Said you're just making yourself part of the problem, which is that you're wasting Aral's time and the time of people who need screen readers by arguing about the way he said it and that you're more in the way of progress than Aral is? maybe?
It happens _every single time_ something is brought up. Go direct your reply guy energy to Fedora if you must. Don't fucking criticize someone being upset that a basic feature has been ignored and has consequences for people.
