Also part of the reason why Star Citizen still hasn't released is because they were initially using a proprietary engine Amazon leased to them but Amazon basically lied to them about its capabilities and it didn't work so they had to make their own from scratch and they just basically finished the engine a year ago. Lol.

People use Unity or Unreal because they work with Blender and you already know what they can or can't do. There are a lot of business risks with innovation and MBAs and jeets HATE taking risks. There's no passion, no fun. It's all about extracting money.
