I'm so old I remember when Reagan & Thatcher dramatically cut taxes on the rich and their corporations and dramatically increased funding of military companies, and then said we have to cut everything government does to make people's lives better because of "deficits" and "we're running out of money."
And "conservatives" have been at it ever since!
What I don't understand is why people never catch on?
