Same thing when people use "CGI" for ANY kind of special effects. I have watched NUMEROUS reaction videos where people are astounded at how GREAT the CGI was for old movies that were made DECADES ago. I'm talking 80s, 70s.. even 30s Metropolis. CGI? Seriously?
