Unfortunately AFAIK it's quite common for provincial disability benefits to deduct--dollar for dollar--anything the feds give us, at least if connected to federal CPPD.
In Alberta this means that even though you must apply for CPPD as a precondition of getting provincial AISH, any COL increases etc from CPPD are deducted from AISH so total amt remains the AB AISH limit. 😐
