I’m currently backpacking in the Columbia River Gorge (it’s sprinkling). Listening to the Fox 12 Oregon Weather Podcast. They’re saying a warmup and dry weather is on the way.🤞🏼I have a permit for the Three Sisters Loop next weekend. I really want to take a crack at climbing South Sister one of the days. How easy is that, just a scramble? Is it a good idea this time of year and should I bring my helmet? Any advice would be appreciated.
