The URUSAI.social server has an added feature that merges notifications about the same post into one. But it keeps the previous paging behavior and does the collapse in the frontend after each page loads.
So having managed to make a post that got >200 boosts and favorites, I've wound up with just two collapsed notifications (one for favorites, one for boosts) until I hit "load more" like 6 times lol
Very much an edge case but maybe I should do something about this...
