just realized that I'm within like 1.5 hours walking distance from the great Florida trail that runs through the state and interconnects the parks

now I'm tempted to just throw together a backpack and do a week or two of backcountry camping. I have all the gear and at least a hundred of miles of hiking experience under my belt, the only challenge would be food and water
