npub1rdhfjemz6n8qhs4899jscd3rx3dphkulld068umf6jz896wq4thskqwzv5 (npub1rdh…wzv5) I don’t disagree, I don’t think it’s up there with Earthsea, The Dispossessed or The Left Hand of Darkness, but I do prefer it to The Word for World is Forest - purely because one of the POV characters in that was so, so odious that I hated spending time in his head.

I haven’t got round to the older Hainish novels yet, so I’m interested to see how I find them.
