Most kale is awful: tough and bitter. But if you get fresh kale of the appropriate variety and age and prepare it properly, it is insanely delicious. When I get the good stuff, I have to force myself not to eat it all in one day. We recently got purple kale from a local farmer and I thought my brain was going to explode with happiness every time I took a bite. My favorites are sautéed in olive oil with carrot/hot pepper /lemon, and raw massaged with olive oil and lemon 🥬🥬🥬
