There are polls that show that support for him falls off a good bit if he is convicted. I think it's obvious that if convicted he will simply say that he was not convicted.

I also think that most people imagine that if sentenced to prison there would be some acceptance of the loss by Trump. Not a concession, but that he would at least agree that yes, he was found guilty even if he says it's injustice.

But I predict this won't happen, since he can preserve more support by saying it didn't.
