Phew, finally deleted my Google account of 15 years today, which had involved a long process of changing my address from gmail to #protonmail everywhere.
Now with the head of Proton(mail) talking about fascists in a neutral/slightly positive way, I'm personally reluctant to continue paying for their services.
Should've taken the advice of using my own domain name for email, which would make it possible to switch email providers without changing addresses.
In all, I'm enjoying this (forced) practice of digital dis-attachment. Deleted Google and Instagram this week and Twitter and Spotify already fell years ago.
