A huge problem with the terminology 'People of Color' - especially shortened to an abreviation - is that it does use and reenforce the narrative of races and whitness as a special construct ammong those. The term in itself denies the existance of mixed-race identities. But those identities do exist and they do have a right to exist. They have a right to be named. When someone writes 'PoC' what they usually mean is "someone not read as white", but that is a different thing than being 'of Color'. These three letters impliy a construct of race where 'white' is inherrently better that 'Colored' and when you mix 'white' with 'color'' you still get color.
