AltText isn't just for people with vision impairment. With an image with text in a language that someone doesn't know, or is not native in, adding AltText allows people to translate the text and understand what is written in the image

This is essentially a way of allowing your toot to travel further and get retoots from people who might not know your language

You do need to set the language of the toot to the language that the toot is in 😄
