Imo if we agree that current iteration of AI tools are actually learning we must treat it learning.
This also has been heavily criticized as a solution to get "artists paid" and in reality would just consolidate AI training to only those who can afford to buy data at scale.
I'm in favor of the opposite pov where all data should be free as per MIT ideologies like MIT and copyleft licensing.
