Many C4SS articles not only old ones but new ones too like Free Market anti-capitalism are based on neo-classical assumptions of perfect competition and general equilibrium.
They like to say if we uhhh remove big government and big corporation then we will have perfect competition and general equilibrium. They take what neo-classicals think of the present and abstract it into "socialist market". Because they forget that monopoly is created by competition and that price signals can't stabilize disequilibrium like Roderick T. Long talking about "emergent order" and "market as order". There are a lot better economics that don't depend on neo-classical and Austrian demagogy.
