I don't know what to make of this diatribe against Corbusier inspired architecture. Like all buildings some are done well and some are a disaster. But I live in such an estate, same architects as the Barbican, and it works brilliantly as a community for living
The Barbican is also much loved by its residents.
Both estates were built into the bomb pits created by the Blitz, so no demolition. Yes Soho was saved but it's now a theme park.
