If you are interested and have some way I can share it with you, I will send you a pdf copy of my book, "Why I Need Jesus" that will answer many of your questions. I'd also recommend reading the Bible (I'm partial to the ESV and NASB translations, but the NLT is an easier read because it isn't a word for word translation, but a phrase for phrase translation.).
