I think I'm at that point where new computing and tech in general is no longer remotely enjoyable, exciting or fun. The more complex a system is, the higher the probability adtech has been woven into it. The stink of it is practically everywhere, and the only escape is not using or engaging with the products, which leaves you "out" or "uninformed."
While I love and support the alternatives, in the decades I've seen privacy and security try and win out over adtech and surveillance, money always talks.
I don't know where I'm going with this momentary rant. I'll just shout "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore" on UDP 53 for the next couple weeks.
