Owner of local caff is very happy that (under pressure of EU law: a DG COMP action & forthcoming #DMA), iPhones now allow him to take card payments using the in-built #NFC reader. He told me Bluetooth failures on Zettle/PayPal and similar boxes lost him money constantly after claiming payments were authorised when they were not. Apple's behaviour around NFC sensors has been outrageous and unacceptable. Of course, now they sell it as if it's a new feature they invented (
