I don't necessarily have the answer but I will ask questions.
For instance, what if talking outloud and talking to yourself could be problematic for the reasons I mentioned BUT... praying is against the adversary and only helps you?
Now what about "doing" stuff? Taking actions? What if there is a carve out there somehow? In that, man must be able to "do" things? What if actions should be accompanied by prayer? What if actions with authority, good?
